Walnut Coffee Cream dessert

Delicately crafted layers of delicate egg white dough, infused with a rich coffee cream filling, expertly sliced and then meticulously coated with a layer of decadent chocolate.

The optimal texture is achieved when the body of the pastry and the cream filling are perfectly fused, resulting in a melt-in-your-mouth sensation that can only be described as sublime.

Ingredients:

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour + 3 spoons for the filling
  • 1/2 cup ground walnuts
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 3 spoons of powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup of strong black coffee
  • chocolate topping

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 392°F.
  • Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  • Beat the egg whites until stiff; gradually add the powdered sugar.
  • Sprinkle the nuts mixed with the flour into the snow and mix very lightly with a wooden spoon.
  • Spread the dough evenly on the baking paper.
  • Place in the oven and immediately reduce the temperature to 338°F.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes. The dough must not darken too much.
  • Immediately after baking, invert the body into another tray or onto baking paper and let it cool.
  • Divide the cooled sheet into three equal pieces.
  • Connect them with the cream and layer them on top of each other.
  • Cut into even rectangles and dip one or both edges in chocolate.
