Cut-out marzipan Christmas cookies with chocolate

Full of marzipan and chocolate, this recipe just can’t help but taste good!
Follow the simple steps, and you’ll be done in no time!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1/4 cup of milk chocolate
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate
- 1 teaspoon cocoa (ideally Dutch type)
- 1/2 cup of marzipan mass
Method
- Sift plain flour with cocoa into a bowl, add grated chocolate (both types), marzipan, and softened butter, and process everything into a smooth dough.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for 30-45 minutes.
- Line a tray with baking paper and preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Put the dough on a roll, roll out a sheet 0.1 inches thick, and then cut out the shapes you like (e.g., stars, bells, etc.).
- Transfer the cutout cookies to a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes. You can leave the baked cookies as they are, or lightly sugar them, or cover them in chocolate coating.
- Another option is to glue the individual shapes together with jam.
