Crispy Panko Fish

If you’re a fan of fish for Christmas dinner, try out our Crispy Panko Fish recipe. It’s quick and easy to prepare and makes a perfect addition to your Christmas Eve dinner.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs white fish – carp, cod, or halibut
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Spread the breadcrumbs on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking oil. Fry them for 3-4 minutes until golden.
  • Transfer the breadcrumbs to a bowl and add Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper to taste. Mix well.
  • Increase the oven temperature to 400°F.
  • Mix eggs, mayonnaise, flour, and salt and pepper.
  • Dip the carp fillets in the batter and wrap them in breadcrumbs.
  • Transfer to a greased baking sheet and spray with an oil.
  • Place the tray in the oven and bake for 12 minutes until crispy.
