Celery spread with apple

If you’re searching for a recipe for low-fat and low-calorie canapés, you’ve landed in the right place.

Canapés made with celery spread and apple are the perfect choice as they contain calcium and a lot of vitamin B2.

What you will need:

  • 2 pinches of ground curry
  • approx. 1/2 cup of processed cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of buttermilk
  • 1 celery
  • 1 small apple
  • salt
  • pepper

Method:

  1. Mix the curry with two tablespoons of warm water.
  2. Next, mix in the cream cheese until you have a creamy consistency.
  3. Rinse the celery. Finely chop it and chop the leaves. Set one tablespoon of celery aside.
  4. Now wash the apple, dry it, and quarter it to get rid of the core conveniently. Chop finely.
  5. Mix the cream mixture with the apple and celery.
  6. Add 1-2 tablespoons of water if the spread is too thick.
  7. Blend until you reach a creamy consistency.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Spread on bread canapés or crackers and garnish with the remaining celery.
