Dates of the Christmas Market in Bolzano

The Bolzano Christmas Market is scheduled to open on November 27, 2025 at 5 p.m., when the impressive tree in the middle of the square will be lit up, kicking off the magical Christmas atmosphere that will last until January 6, 2026.

The Bolzano Advent Markets are an ideal place for families with children. There will be a number of special events for children, such as fun workshops where they can create a variety of crafts or Christmas cookies. There will also be puppet shows, rides on the carousel, an electric train, and carriage or pony rides through the picturesque streets of the historic center.

In addition, a heated children’s corner will be set up on Walther Square, where it will be possible to hide from the cold or feed and change small children.

During the markets, an accompanying cultural program takes place every day, including musical and theatrical performances. Concerts at Piazza Walther will take place every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, on Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Epiphany.
