Nut Cream

The hazelnut-flavored cream is perfect. It is suitable not only for gluing stuffed nuts or tea pastries.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 6 tablespoons ground walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon semi-coarse flour (you can also use vanilla pudding powder)

Preparation process:

  • Mix the flour (custard) in the milk and boil, stirring constantly; cook for about 2 to 3 minutes until a thick slurry forms.
  • Set aside and allow to cool at room temperature, stirring occasionally.
  • Put the chopped, softened butter in a bowl, add the vanilla and powdered sugar, whisk until frothy, then add the cooled mash spoon by spoonful.
  • It is crucial to constantly rub thoroughly so that no lumps form. If you want to make it easier, use an electric mixer.
  • Finally, mix 6 spoons of ground walnuts into the base cream (if you don’t have them, they can also be hazelnuts).
