Non Alcoholic Eggnog

Savor the delicate, creamy taste of this nutmeg-infused drink that’s perfect for the whole family – young and old alike.
Ingredients:
- 6 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Method:
- Beat the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl until creamy.
- Combine the cream, milk, nutmeg, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring to a boil, whisking constantly.
- Add a tablespoon of hot milk to the egg mixture and whisk vigorously.
- Repeat the procedure.
- Once most of the hot milk has been added to the eggs, pour the mixture back into the pot on the stove.
- Beat for a few minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
- Pour the egg cognac through a fine sieve into a glass bottle and close tightly.
- Store in the refrigerator. You don’t have to worry that your egg cognac is not completely thick, as it will naturally thicken further as it cools.
Serve sprinkled with cinnamon or nutmeg or with fresh whipped cream.
