Lemon Bars

This delightful recipe requires only seven simple ingredients.
The lusciously thick and creamy lemon curd filling rests atop an irresistible buttery crust. To ensure perfection, always bake these lemon bars at a lower temperature.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 spoons of sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- salt
- 6 eggs
- juice of 2 fresh lemons
Method
- Mix the melted butter and sugar together.
- Add vanilla and salt. Stir.
- Sprinkle flour and create a dough, which you then fill the baking tin with.
- Now, prepare the frosting.
- Mix the lemon juice, eggs, sugar, and a little flour together.
- Pour the filling onto the body and bake for about 20 minutes (until set) at 320°F.
- After baking, remove the finished cookies from the oven and let them cool. They will take about one hour at room temperature.
- Then, put the cookies in the fridge for 1-2 hours until they are cold, and then cut them into thin bars.
- Finally, sprinkle all the bars with powdered sugar.
- You can serve!

You can color the lemon glaze brown by adding cocoa.
