Hazelnut Crescent Cookies

Hazelnuts give the cookies in this recipe a characteristic aroma, making them unique. If you don’t like hazelnuts, you can replace them with walnuts or almonds.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup ground hazelnuts
  • 1/2cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • a pinch of baking powder

For decoration:

  • chocolate topping
  • nuts for sprinkling

Method:

  • Mix the dough from all the ingredients and roll it into several rolls.
  • Cut the rolls into the same pieces from which you shape the crescents.
  • Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Place in an oven preheated to 350°F and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove the baked rolls from the oven and let them cool.
  • Dip the upper side of each cooled crescent into the melted chocolate glaze and cover with chopped nuts.
  • Let it harden, and then enjoy!
