Hard Cheese Spread

A tasty cheese spread with hard cheese such as cheddar can be prepared quickly and is excellent when served as the basis of a tasty Christmas sandwich.

Ingredients

• 1 small clove of garlic
• 1 cup cheddar cheese (grated)
• 1/2 cup cream cheese
• 1/4 cup sour cream
• 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
• ¼ teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika
• ¼ teaspoon chili
• a pinch of cayenne pepper
• a pinch of onion powder

Method

• Finely chop the garlic.
• Add the grated cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, paprika, chili, cayenne, and onion powder.
• Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
• Taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
