  • 1 and ½ teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup finely chopped hazelnuts

Method

  • Mix flour and cocoa powder in a bowl. salt, espresso, and cinnamon.
  • Using an immersion blender, combine the softened butter and sugar. Turn on the machine to high speed. This way, you create a light and fluffy cream.
  • Add eggs and vanilla. Mix gently until everything is mixed. It takes about 1 minute.
  • Add the flour to the bowl with the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
  • Put the dough in the fridge for about 1 hour and preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Prepare baking paper on a baking sheet. Using a spoon, place equal-sized pieces of dough on the paper. Determine the size yourself according to how big you want the ovals.
  • Place the tray in the oven and bake for about 13 minutes.
  • Then, let the candy cool on a wire rack.
  • You can wrap the finished coffee candy in coconut, for example.

If you prefer a milder coffee flavor, you can use mocha coffee to create mocha-flavored Christmas cookies. The preparation process remains unchanged.
