The traditional Christmas market at Plaza Mayor will take place this year from November 28 to December 31. The markets will open at 4 p.m. Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Friday, Saturday, and December 23 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
German Christmas Market in Madrid
These markets are held in front of the German Evangelical Church, where you can enjoy mulled wine and sausages and browse the products of local artisans, which you can buy as gifts and Christmas decorations. The event will run for three days: 29. 11. (6–10 p.m.), 30. 11. (2–10 p.m.), and 1. 12. (12–4 p.m.).
El Corte Inglés Christmas Market in Nuevos Ministerios
This Christmas market will take place from November 14 to January 5, 2025. It will feature a wide gastronomic offer, food trucks, sweets, and stands with Christmas decorations, flora, and candles, for example. Plaza de España Market: La Navideña
From November 21st until the beginning of January 2025, you can enjoy up to 40 stalls with artisanal products and gastronomic specialties. Vintage Market on Calle Serrano
This is a market that will amaze all lovers of vintage accessories. Decorate your home in a vintage style this year. You can buy, for example, cut glass, chandeliers, glass, antique dishes, and various ornaments. The market runs for three days, from November 21 to 23, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Madrid Crafts Fair
On Paseo de Recoletos, from December 1 to 30, 2024, you will find more than 155 artisans from all over Spain in one place. This fair has been taking place since 1988 and is still very popular. The market is organized by the Madrid Crafts Association (AMOA). The stalls offer jewelry, toys, ceramics, leather goods, and other interesting items. The market runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. without interruption. Only on Christmas Day will the market be open until 3 pm, and on December 25th, it will be closed completely.

Cat Market
From December 14th to January 6th, you can visit the Cat Market at the Armada Cultural Center on Gran Vía. This market was set up to promote creative and sustainable companies. It is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. You will find men’s and women’s fashion, accessories, jewelry and costume jewelry, handicrafts, cosmetics, and fashion for children.
