Stuffed Christmas nuts

Nut filling for Christmas cookies is probably the most typical filling.

Get inspired by the recipe for this delicious cookie, which is beautifully soft right after baking.
You will need:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter at room temperature
- 1/4 cup of walnuts
- 1/4 cup of cocoa
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- lemon peel
- ground cinnamon
Preparation process:
- Finely grind the walnuts.
- Sift the flour, sugar, and cocoa and add the ground nuts and other ingredients.
- Make the dough and put it in the fridge overnight.
- The next day, remove the dough from the fridge and leave it at room temperature for at least half an hour.
- Then, fill the walnut-shaped molds and bake at 338°F for about 6 minutes – as soon as the nuts start to smell, they are ready.
- After cooling, tap the nuts out of the molds and let them cool completely.
- Prepare the cream as you like and start gluing the nuts together.
- Ultimately, you can decorate the stuffed walnut according to your imagination.
- Store in a cool, dark place.
