Simple Christmas Gingerbread Vinegar Cookies

Almost all of us love gingerbread, and this recipe is also straightforward. Vinegar helps keep the gingerbread soft while giving it the perfect bite.
Decorate according to your imagination!
Ingredients:
For the gingerbread cookies:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup cane molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar
- 2 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
For the frosting:
- 1 egg white
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
Method:
- Beat the game on medium speed for about 45 seconds until it is light and fluffy.
- Add sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and spices.
- Whisk until combined.
- Add the molasses, egg, and vinegar.
- Whisk until combined.
- Add 2 cups of flour and beat until incorporated.
- Add the rest of the flour and mix.
- Cover the dough and let it chill for at least 3 hours (you can leave it overnight).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out half of the dough to approximately a thickness 1 inch.
- Cut out any shapes you like and place them on a greased baking sheet.
- Repeat with the remaining dough.
- Bake the gingerbread cookies at 380°F for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Leave to cool.
- Place the egg whites in a clean, dry bowl and beat with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
- Spoon the frosting into a small piping bag.
- Cut off the end of one corner of the bag and apply the frosting to the cooled gingerbread cookies.
- Let it harden.
- Enjoy your meal!
