Sausage sandwiches with fresh vegetables

These canapés are quite similar to the ones from the previous recipe.
However, they contain a greater proportion of fresh vegetables, making them a healthier snack option. This is particularly useful when you’re trying to balance your intake of healthy and unhealthy foods, as you can still indulge in something delicious without compromising your health goals.
With the addition of more vegetables, these canapés provide a variety of nutrients that are essential for a balanced diet, including vitamins, minerals, and fiber.

Ingredients:
- baguette
- hard sausage
- cucumber
- small tomatoes
- sliced cheese (can also be toasted)
- olives
Instructions:
- Cut a baguette into slices.
- Grate or thinly slice the cucumber with a vegetable peeler.
- Cut the tomatoes into slices as well.
- Cut the sliced cheese into squares.
- Cut the sausage into rounds.
- You can spread butter or a little mayonnaise on the rolls. But it is not necessary.
- Place a slice of cheese on the canapés.
- Put a round of tomato on it.
- Take a toothpick or a short skewer and make a skewer. Half an olive will go first, followed by a slice of cucumber, which you fold into a wave. Then comes the sausage. A slice of cheese can come at the end.
- Stick a skewer into the base of the canapé with tomato, and you’re done!
