Yeasted rolls with cottage cheese filling

You can use the cottage cheese filling not only in buns but also in rolls. It’s easy!
Ingredients:
- 4 cups plain flour
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup butter + for spreading
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Cheese filling
- 1 cup of cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Method:
- Dissolve the yeast in the water and set aside.
- Mix the melted butter, sugar, and salt in a blender.
- Beat the eggs and add them to the butter mixture.
- Stir in the milk and yeast mixture.
- Add flour and work into a dough.
- Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a bowl.
- Leave to rise until the dough has doubled in size.
- In the meantime, prepare the cheese filling.
- Mix the cottage cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon thoroughly.
- Divide the risen dough into four equal parts.
- Roll each part into a circle and cut it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of curd filling on the end of each triangle and roll towards the tip.
- Place on a baking sheet and leave to rise for approximately 20 minutes.
- Brush the rolls with melted butter before putting them in the oven.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 338°F until golden brown, approximately 10 minutes.
