This recipe is beloved by raw food enthusiasts and all who appreciate delicious cuisine.
Brownies can be enjoyed as a delightful sweet or as a perfect complement to a cup of coffee.
Ingredients
- 1 and ½ cups walnuts
- 1 cup raw unsalted almonds
- 2-2 and ½ cup dates
- ¾ cup cocoa powder or raw cocoa
- 1-2 teaspoons of your favorite finely ground coffee
- 1 pinch of sea salt
Method
- Finely chop the walnuts and almonds in a blender.
- Add cocoa, espresso, and sea salt. Put everything aside.
- Put the dates in a blender and process them into small pieces. Then, remove them from the bowl and set aside.
- Put the nut and cocoa mixture back into the blender and gradually add the dates. Add only enough dates to form a dough. The dates will hold the mixture together.
- Spread the dough prepared in this way evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and, if you wish, sprinkle it with the rest of the nuts that you set aside.
- Put the tray in the fridge and let it harden.
- After solidification, cut the finished dish into pieces according to your taste.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. This way the food can last you 2 weeks. If you want, you can save the dough for later and put it in the freezer. Brownies can last up to 2 months there.
