Chocolate Crescent Rolls springled with Coconut

The mixture of coconut, vanilla, and chocolate is irresistible. Try it this year in this delicious form!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup finely shredded coconut + 1/4 cup for sprinkling
  • 1 cup of butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • chocolate topping

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy.
  3. Mix the plain and coconut flour, cornstarch, cocoa, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Add half a cup of shredded coconut to the butter mixture.
  5. Mix with a mixer until the mixture is well combined.
  6. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture until just combined.
  7. Store the prepared dough in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  8. Preheat the oven to 340°F and line a tray with baking paper.
  9. Shape the dough into rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
  10. Bake for approximately 20 minutes until golden.
  11. Take out the baked Christmas cookies and, after cooling, lightly coat them with chocolate glaze and sprinkle with grated coconut.
