Ingredients:

  • 6 large celery stalks
  • 1/2 cup of cream cheese
  • ½ small red onion
  • handful of pecans
  • 1 tablespoon of pecorino cheese powder
  • ground sweet pepper for sprinkling
  • ground black pepper for sprinkling

Method:

  1. Combine the cream cheese, onion, pecans, and pecorino cheese in a food processor.
  2. Taste the mixture and, if necessary, add salt to taste.
  3. Wash and dry the celery stalks. It should be at least 4 inches long otherwise you will need more. Cut into individual bites depending on how big you want the canapés.
  4. Spoon the mixture into each celery cavity.
  5. Sprinkle with paprika and pepper, and you’re done!

You can replace the pecorino cheese with parmesan.
