Bread Maker Pretzels

If you prefer to avoid the tedious process of making dough and, generally, endless time spent in the kitchen, we have a recipe just for you. In this case, the bread maker will do all the work for you! Now, let’s get down to the recipe for homemade salty pretzels.
Ingredients:
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 pinch of salt (about 1/2 tsp)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
- Coarse salt, cumin or poppy seeds for sprinkling
- 1 cup of warm water
Instructions:
- Put all the ingredients in the bread maker: first sugar, then yeast, water only 2/3 cup.
- Turn on the basic dough program.
- The dough must double in volume.
- Divide the risen dough into approximately twenty to twenty-five parts.
- Roll each part into a roll and create a pretzel shape.
- Preheat the oven to 400°T.
- Line the tray with baking paper.
- Stack the prepared pretzels on it.
- Leave to rise for another 15 minutes.
- Then, mix the remaining water with the sugar.
- Spread the mixture over all the pretzels.
- Sprinkle with grains, coarse salt, poppy seeds, or possibly cumin to taste.
- Bake until golden for 15 – 20 minutes.
