Quick Cup Vanilla Rolls

Don’t want to be delayed by weighing ingredients while baking? If so, you will surely enjoy this mug recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 2 and 1/4 cups plain flour
  • 1 cup ground blanched almonds or almond flour
  • 1 cup of butter
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Using a hand mixer, beat the powdered sugar and butter in a medium bowl until fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla and almond extract and mix well.
  4. Add salt and mix thoroughly again.
  5. Mix the flour and ground almonds or almond flour into the butter mixture.
  6. Knead everything with your hands into a uniform dough.
  7. On a lightly floured board, use a rolling pin to roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1 cm.
  8. Using the crescent-shaped cutters, cut out individual pieces of candy.
  9. Combine the rest of the dough, roll it out, and repeat until all the dough is used up.
  10. Place the tray with baking paper and vanilla rolls in the preheated oven.
  11. Bake until golden brown, approximately 12-15 minutes.
  12. Lightly sprinkle the still-warm rolls with icing sugar.
