Potato mayo spread with pickled vegetable

Indulge in the perfect combination of bread rolls with potato salad, garnished with chunks of pickled cucumbers and onions that add the perfect crunch to this creamy delight. Once you have a taste of this incredibly delicious salad, you will be hooked and find yourself preparing it again and again.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups red-brown potatoes
  • 1 spoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon rice or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 pieces of deli ham (or soft salami)
  • 1/2 cup pickled onions
  • 1/2 cup pickled cucumbers
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Method

  • Wash the whole potatoes with the skin, place them in a pot, and let them boil until tender.
  • While the potatoes are boiling, cut the onion into thin slices and cucumbers into small cubes.
  • Sprinkle the cucumber and onion with sugar and a teaspoon of salt, toss lightly, and let sit for 10 minutes or more to pickle.
