Nougat Slices made of Almond flour

Nougat cookies are an absolute taste experience. Don’t miss it.

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 1 cup of almond flour
  • 1/2 cup of softened butter
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons grated hazelnuts
  • 2 eggs
  • A teaspoon of cinnamon
  • A spoonful of oil

For the frosting:

  • 1 cup of dark chocolate
  • 1/4 cup of whipped cream
  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  • Work the almond flour with softened butter, sugar, grated hazelnuts, eggs, cinnamon, and oil into a smooth dough.
  • Knead it into a ball and let it rest at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  • Then, roll out a sheet about 0.3 inches thick on a floured work surface.
  • Put it all on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for about 15 minutes.
  • Cut into rectangles while still hot after removing from the oven.

Glaze:

  • Melt the chocolate with the cream and salt in a saucepan, stirring constantly. Mix well with a whisk and dip the ends of the cookies in the finished glaze.
