No-bake Mocha Christmas Cookies

These no-bake mocha cookies should be kept in an airtight container in the freezer to maintain their freshness.
When you’re ready to enjoy them, simply take the cookies out of the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes.
This allows the cookies to thaw slightly and become perfectly soft and flavorful.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of crushed butter cookies (shortbread fingers or similar)
- 2 cups of whipping cream
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cup of condensed milk
- 3 tbsp of granulated coffee
For the frosting
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate
- chopped almonds or hazelnuts as desired
Method:
- Take two to three tablespoons of the total amount of cream, add granulated coffee, and heat on the stove until the coffee dissolves.
- Allow to cool completely, and then add condensed milk, preferably cold, from the fridge.
- Mix thoroughly until the coffee is combined with the condensed milk.
- Whip the remaining cream with powdered sugar and slowly add it to the condensed milk with coffee.
- You should get a light, fluffy mixture.
- Put the mixture in a baking tray lined with baking paper, adjust the height of the mixture to your preferences.
- If you spread the mixture too thin, the layer you put in the cookies will be thin.
- Place in the freezer for a few hours.
- Cut out the frozen coffee cream using a cookie cutter as close to the size of the butter cookies as possible.
- Place it on one cookie and fold the other.
- Put the cookies in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Then melt the dark chocolate and dip the mocca cookies into it.
- Allow to drain and sprinkle with chopped almonds or walnuts.
- Place the candies vertically on a plate so that the fresh chocolate does not touch the surface, and put them in the freezer.
- Then, store them in a container in the freezer.
