Instantly soft Christmas gingerbread cookies

Don’t want to wait for your gingerbread to soften? Then try our quick and easy recipe!
Ingredients
- 500 g plain flour
- 200 g of powdered sugar
- 100 g butter (at room temperature)
- 2 spoons of cocoa
- 5 spoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon of soda
- ¼ baking powder for gingerbread
- gingerbread spices
Method
- Sift flour with sugar, soda, gingerbread powder and cocoa.
- Add all the other ingredients and make a stiff dough.
- Put the dough in the fridge overnight and let it rest.
- The next day, take the dough out of the fridge, at least 1 hour before you start baking.
- Roll out the prepared dough into a 3-4 mm thick sheet and cut out your favorite shapes.
- Place the cut shapes on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Bake at 180°C.
- As soon as the gingerbreads start to brown around the edges, take them out.
- Your soft Christmas gingerbread cookies are ready!
