Healthy oat stacks

Oatmeal is healthy, but what about the other ingredients we use in recipes? Flour, fat, sugar? We also have to replace them with a healthier option. You can eat healthily even at Christmas!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups of oatmeal
  • 2 cups of melted butter
  • 2 cups of cane sugar
  • 1/2 cup of fine spelled flour
  • 2 spoons of honey
  • 2 eggs
  • a handful of raisins

METHOD

  1. Beat the eggs with cane sugar in a bowl, then add the other ingredients and form a dough. If the mass crumbles, add a little honey.
  2. Chip off small piles from the dough (you can use a spoon), which you do not modify in any way.
  3. Place the stacks directly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 320°F for about 5 – 10 minutes, keeping an eye on when they start to turn golden – take them out at that moment.

If you want to entice children to eat healthy sweets, you probably can’t avoid a small compromise. You can mix a small amount of finely chopped chocolate into the dough. But really little!
