Enjoy delicious Christmas gingerbread cookies that do not contain refined sugar!

Ingredients

  • 400 g spelled flour
  • 200 g of honey
  • 60 g of high-quality butter
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon of soda
  • 1 tablespoon of gingerbread spice

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a tray with baking paper.
  • Sift the flour through a sieve and add softened butter, honey, eggs, soda and spices.
  • Whip a stiff dough and put it in the fridge for 12 hours.
  • Once the dough is ready, take it out of the fridge and let it rest, at room temperature, for at least 1 hour.
  • Roll out the dough to a thick plate of about 3-4 millimeters and cut out the shapes as you like.
  • Put the candy on a baking sheet and bake at 180 °C until the gingerbreads smell nice.
  • Store, preferably in a paper box, in a cool place.
