Hazenut Chocolate Ganache Tarts Filling

This cookie will look absolutely perfect topped with one of these Christmas frostings. Choose!
Super rich and decadent, this is the dessert you serve with tea after a light meal. The tarts almost require a dollop of fresh whip cream to balance out the richness.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- lemon juice from half a small lemon
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup toasted pecans (coarsely chopped)
- 2 oz chocolate
Method
- Melt the butter.
- Turn off the heat when the butter starts to brown.
- Stir the sugar into the hot butter until it dissolves.
- Add corn syrup, salt, vanilla, and lemon juice and mix.
- Then, add the eggs and gently beat into the butter mixture.
- Add pecans and chocolate.
- Then, fill the prepared tarts with this filling.
