Gluten-free Chocolate Almond Cookies

If you bake these cookies, you can hardly contain your excitement. They are delicious and yet so easy. Apart from water and salt, you will only need four ingredients; with one recipe, you will get countless variations.
However, they all have a wonderful deep chocolate flavor. Yum!
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 and 1/2 tablespoons of coconut sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup water
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 360°F.
- Mix the almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add water and make a dough.
- Place small scoops of dough onto the prepared baking sheet lined with parchment paper using a spoon or a small cookie scoop.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes until the surface is dry and cracks a little.
- Leave to cool.
Try other variations of these irresistible almond flour cookies:
- Before baking, make a small hole in each cookie with your finger and fill it with the jam of your choice.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract to the dough and press an almond into the center of each cookie.
- Add 2-3 teaspoons of small chocolate chips to the dough.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract to the batter.
- Before baking, roll the balls in grated coconut.
- You can replace the water with cold, strong coffee or your favorite liqueur.
- Add a teaspoon of grated lemon peel to the dough.
This candy has countless variations, and each one is special. You never have to bake the same thing, and you will be delighted every time.
