Eggs-free Homemade eggnog

This particular Christmas drink is often made with eggs, but if you have dietary restrictions or personal preferences that prevent you from consuming eggs, don’t worry – you can still enjoy this festive beverage.
There are various egg-free alternatives you can use to make this drink, such as plant-based milk or egg substitutes.
By substituting eggs with other ingredients, you can create a delicious and creamy drink that satisfies your taste buds and dietary needs.

Ingredients:
- 3 1/2 cups of whole milk
- 2 cups of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of rum
- 2 vanilla puddings
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
Method:
- Pour 1 cup of milk into a saucepan and heat it over low heat.
- Mix the vanilla custard thoroughly in a mug with the remaining milk.
- Pour the sugar and vanilla sugar into the hot milk and stir.
- When the sugar has dissolved, add the custard mixture, stirring constantly.
- Boil the thickening mixture for at least two minutes.
- Set aside and pour the rum into the warm mixture.
- Allow to cool to room temperature.
- If it seems to you that the egg cognac contains lumps after it has cooled, you can mix them with a stick blender.
- Pour the liqueur into bottles and store in the refrigerator.
