Crisp rolls with vanilla and cinnamon

Vanilla and cinnamon are the spices most associated with Christmas. Try their combination in this deliciously delicious cookie.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup ground walnuts or hazelnuts
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
For wrapping
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Method:
- Beat the butter and icing sugar until fluffy.
- Add the ground nuts, vanilla extract, and cinnamon, mixing until well combined.
- At the end, add the sifted flour in parts and work it into a dough.
- Divide the dough into thirds, wrap it in cling film, and let it rest in the fridge for an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 347°F.
- Remove the first part of the dough from the refrigerator.
- Break off small pieces of dough and shape them into a roll or crescent shape.
- Place the vanilla rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Repeat with the remaining dough.
- Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly browned.
- Mix a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, vanilla, and powdered sugar in a small bowl.
- Roll the still-warm pastry in cinnamon sugar.
