Coconut Rum Balls

Coconut rum balls are a simple and delicious bite-sized treat that’s perfect for the holidays. They require only a few ingredients to make!

It’s important to note that you can taste the alcohol in this recipe. While it’s possible to feel a bit tipsy or even get drunk from eating a large amount of rum balls, it’s unlikely unless you consume a lot of them.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cup of Nilla Vanilla Wafers
  • 1 cup pecans or walnuts
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup coconut
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa
  • 5 tablespoons of rum
  • 2 spoons of honey
  • ½ teaspoon of salt

For wrapping:

  • coconut

METHOD

  • Grind cookies and nuts.
  • Sieve the sugar, and add salt, cocoa, coconut, rum, and honey.
  • Knead everything thoroughly and put it in the fridge for at least half an hour.
  • Then, form balls and wrap them in coconut.
