Christmas Tree Dog Candies

A tree should not be missing at Christmas, even in the dog bowl.

Prepare an interesting treat for your four-legged friend in the form of tree candy!

Ingredients

• 1 cup wholemeal flour
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
• 2 tablespoons peanut butter (without xylitol)
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Method

• Preheat the oven to 350°F.
• Mix all the ingredients and make a dough. You may need to use your hands to combine well. If the mixture is too dry, add a small amount of water.
• Sprinkle the surface with flour and roll the dough to approximately a thickness of 0.5 inch.
• Cut out Christmas trees from the dough using a cookie cutter.
• Place in the oven for 30 minutes or until the cookies are firm to the touch.
• Allow them to cool thoroughly before serving to your dog.
