Christmas gingerbread cookies

This recipe is not only delicious, but also healthy because it does not contain refined sugar, but only the natural sugar found in honey.
Ingredients
- 100 g of rye flour
- 50 g spelled flour
- 70 g ground nuts
- 70 g of honey – high quality from Czech producers
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons of oil – high-quality vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon of gingerbread spice
Method
- First, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Prepare baking sheets and line them with baking paper.
- Sift the rye and spelled flour.
- Add nuts, honey, eggs, oil and gingerbread spices to the flour mixture.
- Process the entire mixture into a smooth dough so that it does not stick and place it in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
- The next day, roll out the Christmas gingerbread dough and start cutting.
- Before putting the gingerbread in the oven, brush it with a beaten egg yolk or melted high-quality dark chocolate.
- Bake at 180°C for about 5-6 minutes.
