Christmas fried carp in batter

Each of us prepares the classic carp in a three-pack, and we all have our favorite way to do it, but it doesn’t hurt to try fried carp in a different way.
What will you need?
- 1 kg of fresh carp
- 100 g semi-coarse flour
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons of white wine
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- Salt
- 200 g of solidified shortening
Method:
- Sift the flour into a bowl, add eggs, wine, oil and salt and beat everything into a medium-thick batter.
- Divide the carp into individual portions, wash and dry thoroughly.
- Salt each portion a little and dip it into the prepared dough.
- Meanwhile, heat the cooking oil in a pan and add the carp covered in batter. Fry slowly on both sides until red.
- Serve potato salad or mashed potatoes as a side dish.
