Chocolate Brownie Date Balls

When it comes to chocolate balls, it’s always best to have an extra batch ready to go.
Trust us, these delicious treats are sure to disappear quickly once they’re on the Christmas board.
If you want to be sure to have plenty of treats on hand, consider preparing an extra unbaked cookie in advance. That way, you’ll be able to quickly replenish your supplies and keep everyone happy throughout the holiday season.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup cashew nuts (or walnuts)
- 1/4 cup pitted dates
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons of grated coconut
Method
- Place the nuts in a medium bowl and cover with water. Let sit for 30-60 minutes to soften. Drain and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Add the nuts to a food processor with the rest of the ingredients. Pulse until it is ground into a relatively smooth paste-like dough.
- Roll the dough into balls.
- Alternatively, finally, wrap them in cocoa or coconut.
