Bombardino – the Italian version of the eggnog

With your own homemade eggnog, you have the power to create something truly special – a delicious bombardino, enjoyed by skiers in the stunning Dolomites.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of eggnog
  • 1 cup of whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup of brandy
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • cocoa powder for decoration

Method:

  1. Pour the cream into a bowl, and while gradually adding the sugar, beat it until stiff with an electric mixer.
  2. Pour the eggnog into a pot and heat over low heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add brandy, remove from heat, but continue to stir.
  4. Pour the mixture into the glasses and then apply the whipped cream with a garnish.
  5. Sprinkle the whipped cream with cocoa powder.
