Ingredients (for 4 servings):
- 30 black olives
- 1 baguette
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 cup of butter
- 2 tablespoons of green parsley
- salt to taste
Method:
- First, wash and clean the olives. Slice them and set them aside for later.
- Cut a baguette into circular slices.
- Brush the sliced rounds with butter on both sides. Set aside and go to the next step.
- Prepare the spread in a mixing bowl. Put chopped olives, chili flakes, salt, butter, and parsley there. Let it mix well.
- Preheat the oven to 410°F.
- Grease a baking sheet with butter and transfer the prepared rounds to it. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until they are crispy.
- Once the rounds are toasted, brush them with the olive and parsley.
- These canapés are best served hot. Place three slices of olives on each canapé for decoration.
