Banana Christmas Balls for Your Dog

Do you want the candy for your dog to resemble Christmas with everything?
Then prepare this recipe, which results in “snowballs”!
You can adjust the size of the balls according to the size of your dog. If you make more petite balls, remember that they will need less time in the oven, about 10 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/3 cup peanut butter (without xylitol)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 cup wholemeal flour
- 2 tablespoons oatmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder (optional)
- 1/2 cup water
- For the frosting – 1 teaspoon of cream cheese or Greek yogurt per ball (optional)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Mash a banana and mix it with peanut butter, egg, and honey.
- Add the dry ingredients (flour, oatmeal, and baking powder) and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Add water a little at a time.
- Make balls from the mixture and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
- Allow to cool thoroughly, and remove the balls.
- If desired, spread a teaspoon of cream cheese or Greek yogurt on each ball.
